Her eyes move away from him, and she looks around the bar, studying a person here and there.
"How is that possible?"
She doesn't think anybody in here
looks
dead. No gaping wounds, no blood and guts, no barely attached limbs or even deathly pale skin.
Or maybe everybody looks perfect in death here and...
She can't
